December 1
Nominations open. It's easy and takes only two minutes!
February 7
Nominations close.
February 14
Extension - Nominations close.
February 20
Nominees are announced. Consumer Choice Award voting period starts.
Week of February 26
Applications are emailed to nominees and nominators. It is simple...answer 3-4 essay questions in 150 words or less. Also send a bio and headshot/facility shot.
March 18
Applications are due.
March 25
Applications are sent to the first round judges (Medical News editorial board members who so graciously volunteered their time). *
Week of April 8
First round judges select three finalists for each category.
Finalists are announced. The finalists' applications are sent to an independent panel of judges (four to six from around the country). Voting for the Consumer First Award begins online.
April 11
Voting begins for the Consumer First Award.
April 25
Voting ends for the Consumer First Award.
May 21
The winners will be announced at the MediStar Awards.
June
Winners are announced in the print issue of Medical News.
